Briefing
Different departments at Porsche developed various initiatives, and we have been tasked with creating a single Key Visual that can be utilized across all communication channels, including product, motorsport, events, digital, training, community, and HEV. This Key Visual should mirror the impact of our 75th anniversary visual, which established a cohesive look and feel recognized worldwide.
Background
When it was introduced in 1974, the Type 930 Porsche 911 Turbo shifted the boundaries of what was possible. It brought the benchmark turbo technology from the 917/10 and 917/30 racing cars into a production sports car with superior performance and combined it with a unique design and unprecedented day-to-day usability.
Idea
The Porsche Turbo sound is a trademark, impactful, and a part of the 911 identity—it is its soul.
For this visual, the idea is to use the “Turbo” lettering vibrating to form all the different Porsche turbo models. In a simple visual, we will celebrate the turbo's power that shaped some of the most iconic Porsches throughout the years. The idea is to form a few different visuals, changing the position of the Turbo sign and the different 911 model outlines that can be adapted to any media.
